Benefits of using pacifiers.

Tips for using a pacifier
It’s best to wait 3 to 4 weeks before introducing a pacifier. There are pacifiers specifically designed to be used from birth. If your child isn’t focused on pacifiers, don’t insist on forcing them on them. Offer it only after you have exhausted other options for calming them down.
What are some of the best feast features a soother should have
Silicone, BPA-free, made from a single molded piece or with fewer pieces of plastic, silicone or latex (to reduce choking risk), dishwasher-safe, and fits your baby’s mouth
Orthodontic pacifiers are aimed at avoiding tooth misalignment and dental problems in the future. (All of our pacifiers are orthodontic)
Either an Anatomical shield shape or an ergonomic shield. The anatomical shield has a rounded and symmetrical shape that allows it to be turned over, whereas the ergonomic shape resembles the breast shield designed to mimic the mother’s nipple.
Keeping baby soothers clean and safe for use
Before using a pacifier for the first time, it should be boiled for five minutes and allowed to cool completely before use. You can sterilize the pacifier in boiling water, with an electric home sterilizer, with steam sterilization using your microwave and the sterilization box included with your pacifier, or with a safe fragrance-free liquid sterilizer.
Have a steriliser/carry case for easy accessibility and to store the pacifier away from dust. Some of our pacifier brands come with carrying/storage cases. A pacifier strap is also good for clipping the soother onto your baby’s cloth to avoid dropping it on the floor.
Pacifiers should always be replaced as soon as they show signs of wear or damage.
Pacifiers that are used on a daily basis should be replaced every 1 to 2 months.
When to stop using a pacifier
Limit pacifier use after one year. Note that, it is easier to stop pacifier use than to stop thumb sucking.
When it comes time to say goodbye to their pacifier, prepare your child gradually and gently. Some kids have no problem with giving up their soothers, while others may take longer to adjust. Make it possible for them to have a say in the decision so that they feel supported and acknowledged.
